I have started a new series of paintings that have a dual purpose...one, to be looked at and two, to be used as coasters!
I paint a series of paintings, the set includes 4 coasters. They are painted as a theme. They are painted on 4x4 canvas boards and once complete, I seal them front and back to ensure water can't get to the painting. I would not recommend submerging them in water, but they are safe from condensation. I have tested a prototype, I left a glass with ice water on the coast for a few hours. When I returned, there was no water damage, and plenty of water sitting on top of the coaster.
My first set that I have released is a wine series. 4 coasters with a wine themed painting. Here are the pictures:
I recorded some of the paintings, but I didn't catch the last one. However, I was live, on facebook, the whole time I was painting. Here are the live videos:
I had to stop the live feed halfway through because a follower asked if I could flip the camera. I tried to do it while still streaming but I was having technical difficulties so I stopped the feed. Once I corrected the camera angle, I started the feed again. This will no longer be an issue because I have purchased a cellphone tripod that I can setup to show the painting with my point of view.
These coasters are available for purchase in the Etsy shop and in the eStore.
I will be adding more, different themes, throughout the week.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
