Painting is becoming harder to fit into my busy schedule. Work really picked up and my kids are doing more after school activities, so painting takes a back-burner often. But I am happy to say that when I do get to paint, I do not waste it. And my skill has not diminished at all, as you can see with my roses.
I have been thinking about painting flowers for a while but I couldn't bring myself to do it because Roses have a lot of depth and layers. I didn't know if I could handle that, But I am glad I tried it...finally. These Roses came out amazing!
This painting is available for purchase in my Etsy shop. You can find it here
I hope you enjoyed this painting as much as I did!

Since I work a FT job during the week, have my sons baseball practice every Mondays and Thursdays (games start this Saturday and will be Tuesdays and Saturdays), and I have a work out routine; finding time to paint can be near impossible. So I have been multitasking to get new paintings out.
This painting is an example of that. I wanted to try something different and decided to do a circle and paint within the circle.
It is a mixed media painting, the sky is done with watercolors and the water is done with acrylic paint.
I wasn't able to go live while painting this because I was working at the same time, I took progression photos instead.
The painting is on 300lb cold press paper, has been placed in a protective plastic sleeve and is currently available. You can find it at my Etsy Shop under the Mixed Media section.

This is the newest Artist Shore original. It is of a snowy mountain, ocean waters, cherry blossoms, a sailboat and some birds. This painting is on a 24x36 stretched canvas. It will have a dust cover on the back and a wire for easy hanging. This took me a few days to complete since I wasn't happy with all of the open space. I kept adding to it.
You can see the progression photos below:
I wanted to take my time on this since it was a large painting. It required more details. I took several photos, up close to show the different elements of the painting.
This painting has not been named yet. I am having a hard time picking a name. So I have created a poll with some possible choices, if you would like to help out, please vote on a name that you feel fits the painting. If you do not like the choices, you can leave a comment with your name suggestion.
Edit: Poll ended and the name Spring Bliss won!
I will wait a few days before I check the results and see what name you all chose. I hope you like this painting. Let me know what you think in the comments.
