My client wanted a painting of his three Mastiffs and Pike's Peak in the background. He provided several reference images for me to use, these three were the ones I chose. I was really nervous about doing this painting because it was three dogs and they were facing different ways, which meant the proportions and shadow were really going to matter. The reference images of the dogs had a lot of shadowing on the face, which made seeing the eyes and lines of the face hard. But I feel like I did a great job capturing them and giving enough highlights and shadow to show the body lines. Here is the progression video, Enjoy! If you are interested in a personalized painting, commission me to do one for you! I currently have 3 slots open, but they fill up quick. Message me for more information!
